What you’ll learn

Fundamentals of computer hardware, operating systems and device troubleshooting

Networking basics including topology, routing, switching and common protocols

Cloud services and virtualisation concepts, plus practical exposure to major cloud platforms

Security principles, identity and access management, and safe working practices
-
Helpdesk and support workflows, ticketing systems, customer service and incident management

Introductory scripting and automation to improve day‑to‑day efficiency
What you’ll be doing

Providing first‑line technical support to colleagues and customers via phone, chat and email

Diagnosing and resolving common hardware, software and connectivity issues

Escalating complex incidents to senior teams and assisting with follow‑up

Maintaining accurate records in the ticketing system and contributing to knowledge articles

Supporting projects such as device rollouts, upgrades and routine maintenance tasks
