Valorem First is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment while working towards a nationally recognised SCQF Level 8 IT Support qualification.

Working alongside experienced IT professionals, you'll develop practical skills in technical support, troubleshooting, customer service, digital transformation, and IT service delivery while building the foundations for a long-term career in technology.

What you'll be doing:

• Providing first-line IT support to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues

• Setting up and configuring laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and user accounts

• Supporting Microsoft 365 applications and cloud technologies

• Monitoring and maintaining IT systems and services

• Managing IT assets and maintaining accurate documentation

• Assisting with IT projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Delivering excellent customer service and ensuring timely resolution of support requests

What we're looking for:

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm

They talk you through the specifics on the qualifications you gain and how they align in particular to your day to day role.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 8.
